Pulse have partnered with a NDIS provider and require a Occupational Therapist to join the team within the community.
This position is a diverse role comprising OT specific assessments, interventions and planning predominantly in the NDIS and Aged Care frameworks to increase peoples function and independence in all aspects of their lives. The position of Occupational Therapist will provide a high quality, effective and efficient service to clients, by working as a member of the integrated health care team with a focus on providing person centred, holistic and goal directed care that promotes clients' wellness and active participation in decisions about their care.
The client is looking for a permanent member of staff only for full time hours to start as soon as possible. They are also offering a very nice relocation allowance, rent susidy and food allowance for the right candidate.
To be considered for the role you will need the following:
* Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) registration as an Occupational therapist;
* Demonstrated clinical or occupational rehabilitation experience including prescribing equipment and assistive technologies, home modifications, driving assessments and vehicle modification recommendations. Experience in capacity building and improving functional independence.
* Working with Vulnerable Persons Check (essential)
* Current NSW Drivers License (essential).
* Current Senior First Aid Certificate (essential).
* Current Criminal History Screening or willing to obtain (essential).
* Compulsory third-party insurance on private vehicle (to be used for work purposes).
* General awareness of health & safety issues.
* A minimum of one year's driving experience and a full driving licence.
