How much does a healthcare worker earn with Pulse?

As a casual employee of Pulse Staffing, you will be paid by the hour. Factors that will decide your pay rate will be your qualifications, job role, experience, work location and provider. Pay rates range from $57 - $105.

What qualifications do I need to work in the healthcare industry?

Your job role will determine the level of education and experience you need.

For example, an enrolled nurse will require a Diploma of Nursing (a two-year course) and a registered nurse will need a Bachelor of Nursing (a three-year undergraduate degree). Both roles will require an AHPRA registration to be able to practice.

Nurse FAQs

Do I need to purchase my own scrubs?

Upon registering and securing your first shift/contract, you will receive a Pulse branded scrub top free of charge and an ID badge which you must wear whilst representing Pulse.

How often will I be paid?

Members of the Pulse Staffing nursing team will be paid on a weekly cycle, with pay day being every Friday. You need to ensure you submit your timesheets to your consultant every week.

How do I contact a member of your team?

Your consultant is your first point of contact. If you cannot reach them, please contact the office on 02 9054 7408. If it is outside of office hours, our after-hours team will be there to assist you.

How do I arrange travel and accommodation for travel nursing contracts?

You don't - our travel team will arrange all of this for you. For travel nursing contracts, this will be free of charge.

How do I claim a shift?

Upon registering, you will receive instructions on how to use our rostering app, which you can use to claim shifts.
