Position Overview: We are currently seeking dedicated and compassionate Midwives to join our dynamic team. As an Agency Midwife, you will have the opportunity to work across different private hospitals, providing comprehensive maternity care to expectant mothers and their families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care to women and their babies.
- Conduct thorough assessments of maternal well-being, including monitoring vital signs.
- Assist with the management of labour and delivery, ensuring a safe and positive birthing experience for mothers and newborns.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualised care plans based on the unique needs of each patient.
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in accordance with regulatory standards and organisational policies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Midwifery
- Current AHPRA
- Proven experience working as a Midwife
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a compassionate and patient-centred approach to care.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
