What qualifications do I need to become a midwife in Brisbane?

There are a few ways in which you can qualify to become a midwife. Some of these include:

Obtaining a Bachelor of Midwifery: This is a three-year course that allows you to graduate as a midwife upon completion.
Upskilling after you qualify as a registered nurse: If you have a Bachelor of Nursing degree, you can undertake a 12-month postgraduate program. This will allow you to hold both a registered nurse and midwife AHPRA registration.
